At America’s Family Pet Expo we emphasize the importance of responsible pet care of a wide variety of pets, teach the principles of proper pet selection and training, offer a vast array of fine pet products, promote pet adoptions, and help people to better understand and appreciate all the wonderful ways in which pets make our lives better. SHOPPING MART - a vast array of pet products are on sale to the public at discounted show prices including organic food and nutrition products, toys, bedding, leashes and collars, pet clothing and jewelry, pet carriers, grooming products, pet care and maintenance, training equipment, publications, pet-related arts and crafts, and even pet-themed clothing and gift items for pet lovers.

CELEBRIPETS at America’s Family Pet Expo - Bark with the stars at America’s Family Expo! You’ll recognize Tillman, a skateboarding bulldog, from iPhone ads, CBS Greatest American Dog, Animal Planet, National Geographic, and the Pasadena Rose Parade! Sponsored by Natural Balance Pet Foods, located on the north side of Main Mall Preston Casanova, a world traveling model and actor, appeared on Animal Planet, CBS Greatest American Dog. Presented by Natura Pet Products, located in booth 1506 Stump won Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and as the oldest to ever accomplish the win, touched hearts across the world. JOE KRATHWOHL’S FREE FLIGHT BIRD SHOW - We’re bringing this production to you direct from Las Vegas where it has been a permanent attraction at the fabulous Wynn Las Vegas and Tropicana hotels. Joe Krathwohl, known as The Birdman of Las Vegas, performs with his array of amazingly talented birds including “Mercedes,” the basketball-playing Black Palm Cockatoo; “Boomer,” the juggling Blue and Gold Macaw; “Sheeba,” the giant, very rare Bateleur Eagle; and “Sugar,” the Bare-Eyed Cockatoo who flies through a hoop over the audience. EXTREME DOGGIE MAKEOVER - Dogs from adoption agencies and rescue organizations participating in our Pet Adoption Fair get a total makeover from award-winning “stylists” to look their best for a prospective new family. They are treated to a massage, pedicure, ear cleansing, herbal shampoo, spa shower, hair styling, pet cologne, breath freshener, special collar and leash, fashionable jacket or dress, and even a royal dog bed on which to lie. PET ADOPTION FAIR - Dozens of local adoption agencies and rescue organizations find homes for 300-400 pets at America’s Family Pet Expo each year including dogs, cats, birds, rats, mice, rabbits and more.
